Lifestyle-first care for high blood pressure

Lifestyle
is Medicine.

A daily coaching app and blood-pressure program for people with high blood pressure. Your physician introduces you; we help you make the lifestyle changes they recommend — with an easy app, a home blood-pressure monitor, a coach, community and weekly webinars — and, if your physician asks to be kept informed, they can see a monthly progress report in a secure Sana account. Did you know?

So much of chronic disease is preventable.

Nearly 1 in 2
High blood pressure
Roughly 120 million US adults live with high blood pressure — and for lower-risk patients, the newest guidelines say lifestyle change comes first.
Up to 80%
Heart disease & stroke
Up to 80% of premature heart disease and stroke is preventable — through blood pressure, activity, diet and not smoking.
58%
Type 2 diabetes
A structured lifestyle program can cut the risk of type 2 diabetes by up to 58% (71% for adults over 60).
~40%
Cancer
About 40% of cancer cases are linked to preventable risk factors like smoking, weight, alcohol and inactivity.
15 cigarettes
Why connection matters
The health impact of social isolation can be comparable to smoking up to 15 cigarettes a day — which is why fighting loneliness is central to how we care.
Sana = We Care

We care about your life — not just your chart.

Four promises we make to every patient.

Your life, not your chart

We care about how you actually live — not just your numbers.

Plain talk

No lectures, no jargon. We talk to you like a person.

Never alone

Loneliness makes people sick. We help you build real connections.

Your wins are our wins

Every step forward, we're right there with you.

What we believe

Everyone can change. Most people just haven't found the right way yet.

We believe lifestyle and medicine work best together — not as alternatives. A healthy lifestyle doesn't replace your physician's treatment plan; it amplifies it. And the evidence is clear: with the right approach and the right support, meaningful lifestyle change is possible for almost anyone.

The right approach matters

Many people who struggle to change lifestyle behaviors are simply using an approach that doesn't suit their change type. When the method fits the person, change happens.

Support makes the difference

Lifestyle change attempted alone rarely sticks. A coach, a community, and daily accountability turn good intentions into lasting change.

Addressing the root cause

Lifestyle factors — exercise, diet, sleep, stress — are the root cause of most chronic disease. Treating them directly leads to better quality of life, not just managed symptoms.

How we approach it

Not everyone changes the same way.

Sana Lifestyle uses a proprietary methodology to identify your change type — the way you personally build new behaviors — and then tailors everything around it. Your coaching style, your app experience, your community matches.

What works brilliantly for one person might do nothing for another. That's not a failure of willpower — it's a mismatch of method. Sana Lifestyle finds your method.

The goal isn't just improvement. It's lifestyle change that lasts — that becomes part of who you are, not something you have to force every day.

Step 1

Identify your change type

Your coach helps you understand how you personally make lasting changes — your motivators, your blockers, your learning style.

Step 2

Personalize your program

Your physician determines your treatment goals. Sana Lifestyle builds a behavior plan around the how — tailored to you, not a generic template.

Step 3

Build, track, and celebrate

Daily check-ins, community challenges, coach calls, and real health data that shows your progress — not just numbers, but how you actually feel.

What we do

Everything you need to make change stick.

Monthly coach calls

A personal 20-minute session with a trained behavior-change coach — with you from day one, starting with a welcome call that sets up your app and blood pressure monitor.

At-home monitoring

Easy-to-use cellular blood pressure monitor. No Wi-Fi needed. A gentle light guides you — red to remind, green to confirm.

Daily support app

Behavior tracking, friendly gamification — streaks, freezes, leagues, collectible cards — and AI-powered daily nudges that feel encouraging, not nagging.

Buddy & community

A buddy, team challenges, and a small support circle. Motivation is contagious — we build that in from day one.

Sana = We Care

Important

Sana Lifestyle complements your medical treatment — it never replaces it. If your physician has prescribed medication, we'll help you track it as part of your daily behaviors. Lifestyle and medicine are partners, not competitors.

What's included

Everything your physician recommended. Actually delivered.

Your physician knows what needs to change. Sana Lifestyle gives you the how.

Your personal coach

A warm, trained behavior-change coach who knows your name and your story — from day one. Your welcome call walks you through the app and your blood pressure monitor; then a 20-minute call each month, just the two of you. They celebrate your wins, help through the hard days, and never make you feel judged.

At-home health monitoring

A blood pressure monitor that sends your readings automatically — no Wi-Fi, no app to sync. A gentle light reminds you each morning. Your readings go straight to your care team. Simple and reliable.

Daily support — app or web

Log your behaviors, track progress, and stay connected — through the app on your phone, or our secure web portal if you prefer. Your cellular blood pressure monitor sends readings automatically, no Wi-Fi needed. All your health data, in one private place.

Community & buddy

A buddy after your first two weeks, then a small support circle of people on the same journey. Group challenges, shared milestones — and long-time members can train to lead circles of their own.

Medication counts too

Taking your medication is a behavior just like exercise or diet. If your physician has prescribed treatment, we’ll include it in your daily check-in — so nothing falls through the cracks.

Free during our founding pilot

Sana Lifestyle is completely free for patients in our founding pilot — no cost and no co-pay. Ask your physician whether the program is right for you.

How it works

Simple from day one.

1

Your physician introduces you

Ask your physician whether Sana Lifestyle is right for you. They'll tell you what lifestyle changes to focus on — exercise, diet, medication, sleep, stress — and introduce you to Sana Lifestyle to help you make them.

2

We discover your change type

Your coach helps you understand how you personally make lasting changes — your motivators, your obstacles, your style. This shapes everything that follows.

3

Your device arrives

A cellular blood pressure monitor delivered to your door. Plug it in, take a reading — it sends automatically. A red light reminds you, green confirms it went through.

4

Daily behaviors, daily check-ins

Log your behaviors through the app or the web — whatever your physician has recommended. Streaks cap at 30 days so one bad week never wipes out your progress, and Streak Freezes protect you when life happens. Your team cheers you on. Your coach reviews your progress each month.

5

Your physician stays in the loop

Monthly summaries go back to your care team — blood pressure trends, behavior adherence, how you're feeling. They stay informed. You stay supported.

Common questions

Questions we hear a lot.

What does it cost?

Nothing. Sana Lifestyle is completely free for patients in our founding pilot — there's no charge and no co-pay.

Do I need a smartphone?

No. The blood pressure monitor sends readings by itself over the cellular network — no Wi-Fi, no pairing, no app required. Coaching happens by phone, and if you'd like the daily check-ins you can use our app or the secure web portal on any computer.

Does this replace my physician?

Never. Your physician decides your treatment and introduces you to Sana Lifestyle; we help you follow through on the lifestyle changes they recommend, and, if your physician asks to be kept informed, they can see a monthly progress report in a secure Sana account. Lifestyle and medicine are partners, not competitors.

What happens to my health data?

Your readings and progress go only to your care team — your coach and your physician. Your information is encrypted, access is limited to your care team, and it is never sold or shared for marketing.

Who are the coaches?

Warm, trained behavior-change coaches, trained in-house on the Sana methodology. They're not physicians and don't give medical advice; they help you build the habits your physician recommended.

How do I get started?

Ask your physician about Sana Lifestyle. If they haven't heard of us yet, use the button below to request information you can bring to your next appointment.

Ready to live better?

Ask your physician if Sana Lifestyle is right for you. It's free during our founding pilot.

For physicians & clinicians

Lifestyle-first care, finally deliverable.

You know what your patients need to change. Sana Lifestyle gives them the coaching, monitoring, and community support to actually do it — alongside whatever medication or treatment you've prescribed. We handle the lifestyle program. You stay in the clinical driving seat.

Get patient forms for your practice
New 2025 Guidelines

The AHA now recommends lifestyle intervention as the first-line approach for low-risk hypertension patients — before or alongside pharmacological treatment. Sana Lifestyle is purpose-built to deliver this at scale.

How it works for your practice

Introduce once. We do the rest.

Sana Lifestyle integrates into your existing workflow with minimal friction. You decide the treatment goals — lifestyle changes, medication, or both. We help your patients build the behaviors to follow through.

1

Choose a patient who'd benefit

Someone with high blood pressure who's ready to work on the lifestyle changes you recommend — diet, activity, medication adherence, stress, sleep.

2

Define the treatment goals

You prescribe the lifestyle changes — exercise, diet, medication adherence, stress reduction, sleep. Sana Lifestyle helps patients build behaviors around whatever you've recommended. You stay in charge of the clinical direction.

3

Introduce the patient

Fill in a one-page instruction sheet and hand it to your patient — under 5 minutes, no Epic integration. They enroll themselves and upload the sheet; nothing to send us.

4

We enroll and support the patient

Sana Lifestyle sends the device, onboards the patient, assigns a coach, and begins the program. Monthly progress summaries come back to you automatically.

5

See their progress

Each month you receive a short report on your patient's blood pressure and the habits they're building — so you can see how they're doing between visits.

What you receive back
✓Monthly clinical summaries — BP trends, behavior adherence, medication tracking, patient wellbeing
✓Automated flag alerts — notified if readings trend outside your set threshold
✓Encrypted, access-controlled data — all patient data secured and audit-ready
✓No added clinical workload — coaching happens between appointments, not instead of them
For the first time, you can tell a patient to work on their lifestyle knowing there's a real team behind them to make it happen — alongside their treatment plan, not instead of it.

The evidence

Science-backed. Guideline-aligned.

AHA 2025

Lifestyle-first for low-risk hypertension

The 2025 AHA/ACC guidelines explicitly recommend non-pharmacological intervention as the first line for Stage 1, low-risk hypertension. Sana Lifestyle is designed around this protocol.

The Challenge

Only ~10% of patients succeed alone

Research shows that only around 10% of patients successfully change their lifestyle without structured support. Our goal is to significantly increase that figure through personalized coaching and community.

Prevention ROI

$7.50–$19.34 return per dollar invested

Blood pressure monitoring and lifestyle intervention in at-risk populations generates significant downstream cost savings through reduced hospitalizations, procedures, and acute events.

Early validation

89% self-reported success on habit goals

Our habit-change methodology was developed over three years and tested with 500+ participants — 89% self-reported success on their chosen habit goal. The clinical pilot now measures blood-pressure outcomes on top of it.

Clinical outcomes

−7/−5 mmHg across 23,638 patients

A 2025 peer-reviewed study of remote hypertension management found an average blood-pressure reduction of 7/5 mmHg and roughly 70% more patients reaching their BP goal.

We walk the talk

From under-desk treadmills to walking meetings, we look after your health while you look after everyone else's.

Work that matters

Every day, you help someone turn their life around — and sometimes save it.

What you'll do.

The physician decides what a patient should change. You help with the how — the part that actually makes change happen. Through short, friendly calls and our daily app, you keep people motivated, celebrate their wins, and help them build habits and real connections.

  • Support a panel of patients through our app and brief regular calls
  • Focus on one or two changes at a time — slow is fast
  • Celebrate progress and help patients stay connected and accountable

Why now

Small habits, kept up daily, add up to a lot.

High blood pressure is one of the most common health challenges in the world — and one of the most responsive to everyday lifestyle change. This program isn't about willpower or big dramatic overhauls. We start from what you're already doing well, then add new changes gradually — one small step at a time — with a bit of accountability and people in your corner who want you to win. You bring the willingness; we'll bring the structure.

What's included

Everything in your membership.

Your own coach

A personal coaching check-in each month — around 15 focused minutes on you, your goals, and what's actually getting in the way. Someone who knows your name and your story.

Weekly group webinars

A live one-hour group session every week — ten of them. Dates to be confirmed. Practical, motivating, and a chance to learn alongside others on the same journey. Can't make it live? You'll get the recording afterward.

The Sana app

Log your blood pressure every day, keep your streak alive, and learn something new as you go. Simple to use, built to keep you coming back.

A buddy & a support circle

Change sticks when you're not doing it alone. You'll be paired with a buddy and a small circle to encourage each other and keep each other going.

Your focus

Small changes, built to last — straight from the 2025 heart-health guideline.

We start with what you're already doing well, then add new changes gradually — one small step at a time, so they actually stick. These are the eleven lifestyle changes that the 2025 American Heart Association / American College of Cardiology guideline lists for lowering blood pressure. Your physician helps choose which are right for you, and your coach, buddy and circle help you make them part of everyday life:

Losing weight

at least 5% if above your ideal weight · −6 to −8

Plant-rich eating

more vegetables, fruit, nuts and whole grains · −5 to −8

Less salt (sodium)

under 2,300 mg/day · −6 to −8

A salt substitute

−5 to −7

More potassium

3,500–5,000 mg/day · −6

Less alcohol

−4 to −6

Cardio (aerobic) exercise

90–150 min/week · −4 to −8

Strength (resistance) exercise

90–150 min/week · −2 to −7

Isometric exercise

hand-grip squeeze and hold · can be done seated · −5 to −10

Meditation

2 × 20 min/day · −5 to −7

Slow breathing

15 min/d · −5

Figures are the average drop in the top (systolic) number in mm Hg, from Table 12 of the 2025 guideline. They are averages across many people, measured in different ways — they are not meant to be compared with one another, and your own result will differ. Your physician sets your plan; Sana supports these changes alongside the care and medications your own physician provides — we don't replace them. (Quitting tobacco is one of the best things you can do for your heart — your physician can help with that — but it sits outside this guideline's blood-pressure list, so it isn't one of the behaviors in the program.)

Medical advisor

You'll have a cardiologist in your corner.

Dr. César Molina, MD

Dr. César Molina, MD

Medical Advisor · Sana Heart Health Program

Our program's medical advisor is Dr. César Molina — a Yale- and Harvard-trained cardiologist with dual Stanford fellowships and the founder of the South Asian Heart Center. He has spent more than 20 years practicing lifestyle medicine, helping patients prevent and manage heart disease through everyday habits. Dr. Molina shaped this program's clinical approach and keeps it grounded in the 2025 American Heart Association / American College of Cardiology guideline.

Live Q&A on the webinars

Bring your questions to the weekly group webinars and get them answered live, as part of your membership.

Your physician can stay informed

If your physician asks to be kept informed, they can follow your progress in a secure Sana account. We never email your health information.

Alongside your own care

Sana is lifestyle coaching, guided by our medical advisor — it works alongside your own physician's treatment and medications, never in place of them.

Before you join

Is this the right program for you?

This founding pilot is about gathering honest data on how lifestyle change supports blood-pressure health — so we're looking for people who are genuinely ready to show up. To take part, you'll want to be able to say yes to all four:

A real desire to improve your blood pressure

This works best for people who are genuinely committed — staying consistent with any medication your physician has prescribed and making lifestyle changes alongside it. The two go together; one doesn't replace the other.

A home blood-pressure cuff

You'll measure your blood pressure at home every day during the program. You'll need to already own a home blood-pressure cuff, or be willing to buy one before you start.

If you ever measure 180/120 or higher

The app will guide you the moment it happens. If you also have any of the American Heart Association's warning signs — chest pain, shortness of breath, back pain, numbness, weakness, change in vision, or difficulty speaking — call 911 right away. If you feel well, the app walks you through rechecking and, if it stays high, calling your physician's office. Your care team is told the same day.

A phone or a computer

The Sana app runs on any Apple (iPhone) or Android phone. Don't have a smartphone? No problem — you can use Sana in a web browser on your computer instead.

A few minutes, most days

A daily blood-pressure reading, regular app check-ins, and your weekly group session. It's only a few minutes a day — but doing it consistently is what makes the difference, and what lets us see your progress.

A note on expectations: Sana is lifestyle coaching, not medical care, and we can't promise any specific result — what happens depends on you and your body. What we can promise is the structure, the support, and the daily habits to give it your best shot, always alongside your own physician's care.

For physicians

Information for physicians

Sana Lifestyle is a physician-directed lifestyle program for adults with high blood pressure. You stay in the clinical driving seat; we help your patient build the lifestyle changes you recommend, alongside your treatment — and keep you informed if you ask.

The key things to know

From section 0 of the Sana Medical Protocol (v0.6).

  1. Sana Lifestyle coaches lifestyle change using the 2025 American Heart Association / ACC hypertension guideline. It does not diagnose, treat or make any medical decision, and it never advises on medication.
  2. You remain responsible for every medical decision about any patient you refer, and you decide who is suitable.
  3. Unless you write a different target on a patient's instruction sheet, the blood-pressure goal shown to your patient is the AHA goal — below 130/80 — and is labeled as the AHA's, never as yours.
  4. Unless you write a different threshold, a single home reading at or above 180/120 starts the escalation: the app asks about the seven AHA red-flag symptoms. Any symptom → call 911. No symptoms → if today's BP medicine is still due, take it and re-measure in an hour; otherwise wait at least a minute and re-measure; still at or above → telephone your office now (911 if your office cannot be reached). If you have asked to be kept informed about that patient, your office is notified the same day.
  5. If you have asked to be kept informed about a patient, you can view that patient's monthly report in a secure Sana account. It is never emailed.

Completing the instruction sheet records your instructions for this patient's lifestyle coaching. It is not a delegation of care, and it creates no treating relationship between Sana and your patient.

2025 AHA / ACC High Blood Pressure Guideline

The lifestyle changes that lower blood pressure

This is Table 12 from the 2025 guideline — the lifestyle and stress-reduction steps shown to lower blood pressure, each with its goal and its measured effect, in the guideline's own words.

In August 2025 the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology and eleven partner organizations published an updated guideline for high blood pressure in adults. The table below is reproduced from that guideline.

*Because inclusion/exclusion criteria and comparator groups vary across interventions, these values should not be compared directly to indicate comparative effectiveness. BMI indicates body mass index; DASH, Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension; HTN, hypertension; and SBP, systolic blood pressure. How Sana uses this. The Sana Heart Health Program helps you put the changes your physician recommends into practice — one at a time, at a pace that suits you. Not every change is right for everyone; your physician helps decide which ones are right for you.

Free · Recommended by your physician

Start the Sana Heart Health Program

It takes about two minutes to join, and your first week is just measuring. Keep the instruction sheet your physician gave you — you'll need it.

1 · Have a BP monitor

You'll need an upper-arm blood-pressure cuff — own one, or buy one before you start. The program itself is free.

2 · Sign up & get the app

Fill in the short form below. Then install the Sana app, or use it in your phone's browser — whichever you prefer.

3 · Share your physician's plan

In the form below, type in the marks from your flyer — it takes a minute and your plan starts right away — or photograph the flyer instead and a coach reads it first. Keep the paper and bring it to your welcome call.

Join now — it's free

No payment, and you can start measuring the day you sign up — the app shows you how. We expect the program to run about three months, though the end date isn't fixed.

Each person needs their own email address — it's how you sign in.

It's in the email we sent you, and on the flyer from your physician. Can't find it? Email info@sanalifestyle.com and we'll help.

Please answer these before you fill in your plan.

Is your blood pressure 180 over 120 or higher today?
Please answer this.
Are you pregnant, or planning a pregnancy?
Please answer this.
Has a physician told you your blood pressure swings widely or is unstable?

Having your blood-pressure medication recently started or changed is not a reason to say yes — those patients are welcome.

Please answer this.
Has your physician told you that this kind of lifestyle program is not suitable for you?
Please answer this.

Copy the marks from your flyer exactly as your physician filled them in. If a box is blank on your flyer, leave it blank here. Keep the paper and bring it to your welcome call.

Your flyer shows one of these ticked. Pick the same one. 0 means none.

Keeping your physician informed
Please answer this — look for the box beside “Keep me informed” on your flyer.
Your program follows the instruction sheet your physician gave you. If your physician asks to be kept informed, we share your progress with them, and agreeing to that is part of joining. You can leave at any time, and when you do, we stop.

How your program works. Sana records your blood pressure readings, the habits you log, and the sheet your physician gave you, and uses them to run your program. If your physician asks to be kept informed, we let them know when a reading needs attention and make a monthly progress report available to them in a secure Sana account. We never email your health information. You can leave at any time — just tell your coach or email info@sanalifestyle.com — and when you do, we stop sharing with your physician.

Sana is lifestyle coaching, not medical care. Keep seeing your physician, and keep taking any medication your physician has prescribed.

You can leave at any time, for any reason.

When you join, we'll show you a copy of everything you agreed to, so you can print or save it. You can ask for another copy at any time — email info@sanalifestyle.com. We aim to reply to email within 48 hours.

Free during our founding pilot. You can leave at any time.

Privacy Policy

Data controller: Sana Lifestyle Ltd., 8 The Green, Ste A, Dover, DE 19901, United States · info@sanalifestyle.com
Privacy version 1.8 · Last updated: October 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy forms part of Sana Lifestyle's Terms of Service, available at sanalifestyle.com/terms.

We keep this simple, because that's how we do everything.

What we collect. Account data — your name, email address and mobile number, and an optional profile photo if you add one or agree to one taken on your welcome call. You sign in with a link we email you; there is no password. Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor; we never see or store your card number. Health and lifestyle data — the daily behaviors you log in the app, your goals, and, if you share them, readings like blood pressure. Coaching data — notes from your coaching sessions, and messages you exchange with your coach. Technical data — basic logs (IP address, device type, timestamps) needed to run and secure the service. We collect nothing else, and we never buy data about you from anyone.

We ask for your explicit consent to process health data when you sign up. You can withdraw it anytime — the app can't work without it, so withdrawing means closing your account, but the choice is always yours.

We never sell your data. We never use it for advertising. Your health data is never shared with employers or insurers.

Text messages (SMS). If you tick the optional box agreeing to texts, we use your mobile number to send you the messages described in our SMS Terms — a daily reminder, sign-in codes, and occasional care-team notifications. We keep a record of your consent: the exact wording you were shown, whether you ticked it, and when. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, except our SMS delivery provider and only so your messages can be sent. Reply STOP to any message to opt out — we honor it immediately — or HELP (or email info@sanalifestyle.com) for help. Opt-in records are kept for as long as required to demonstrate your consent.

Who touches your data. Only our small team (your coach sees only what they need to coach you) and these processors under data-processing agreements: Stripe (payments), Google Cloud (secure cloud hosting, encrypted in transit and at rest) and — only if you opt in to texts — Telnyx (text-message delivery). Any profile photo is visible only to you, your assigned coach and our admins; it is used only to show who you are in the app, and is never emailed or texted. Your own physician — the one who gave you your instruction sheet — receives information about you from us only if they ask to be kept informed. If they do, we email them a short alert when a reading or symptom needs attention, with no health details in the email, and we make a monthly progress report available to them in a secure Sana account. We never email your health information. When you tell us you are leaving the program, we stop sharing with your physician. That's the full list; we'll update this page before adding anyone.

Your information under California law. We treat Sana as a "provider of health care" under California's Confidentiality of Medical Information Act (CMIA). Civil Code § 56.06(b) treats a business offering software designed to hold medical information so that an individual can manage their own information or a medical condition as a provider of health care for the purposes of that Act. That is a description of the Sana app, so we apply CMIA to everything we hold about you — and we do so whether or not it is strictly required of us.

What that means in practice:

  • We keep your medical information confidential and do not disclose it without your written authorization, except where the law specifically permits or requires it.
  • The only routine disclosure we make is to your own treating physician, for your care, and only if your physician has asked to be kept informed. We will not share your medical information with anyone else without your written authorization, except where the law permits or requires it.
  • You can leave the program at any time. When you tell us you are leaving, we stop sharing with your physician.
  • When you join, we show you a copy of everything you agreed to, and you can ask for another copy at any time at info@sanalifestyle.com.
  • Your physician may not pass on medical information they receive from us except as California law allows (Civil Code § 56.13).

California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). Sana does not currently meet the thresholds that make a business subject to the CCPA: we are well below the revenue threshold, we do not buy, sell or share the personal information of 100,000 or more consumers or households, and we derive no revenue from selling or sharing personal information. We extend the core rights to everyone regardless — to know what we hold about you and why, to receive a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and to be treated no differently for asking.

We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not intend to — not for money, and not for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use your information for advertising at all.

Sensitive personal information. Health information is "sensitive personal information" under California law. We use yours only to run your program and, if your physician asks to be kept informed, to share your progress with your physician. We do not use it to infer characteristics about you, and we do not disclose it for any purpose other than those described in this policy.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@sanalifestyle.com. We aim to reply within 48 hours and to respond substantively within 45 days.

Retention. We keep your data while your account is active. Close your account and we delete or irreversibly de-identify your personal data within 90 days, except the minimum records we must keep for tax and accounting law.

Your rights. You can: access your data, correct it, delete it, receive a copy in a portable format, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent at any time — email info@sanalifestyle.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

Security & children. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest on infrastructure built for healthcare-grade compliance. Sana is for adults — we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Terms

Sana Lifestyle Ltd. · 8 The Green, Ste A, Dover, DE 19901, United States · info@sanalifestyle.com
Version 0.9.3 · 20 October 2026

These Terms of Service incorporate the following documents, each of which forms part of these Terms:

These terms are for patients joining the free founding pilot through their physician's practice. They are not the terms for Sana's paid program.

This is free, and it stays free. You pay nothing to take part in this pilot, and you will never be billed for it — not now, not when the pilot ends, and not if Sana starts charging other people later. We ask for no card and no payment details. There is no subscription, no trial that converts, and no founding-member rate waiting at the end. If you want to continue with a paid Sana program after the pilot, that will be a new and entirely separate decision that you make, and nothing here commits you to it.

What Sana is, and what it is not. Sana is a lifestyle coaching program for building healthy daily habits. It combines a daily app with human coaching.

Sana is not medical care. We do not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition, and our coaches are not physicians. Keep seeing your physician, keep taking your prescribed medication, and never change your treatment because of anything in this program without talking to your physician first. We cannot and do not promise any particular health result — blood pressure and other outcomes vary from person to person and depend on many things outside the program.

Anything the app tells you about when to seek help comes from your own physician, who has set those instructions in writing for you. Sana passes them on; Sana does not decide them.

If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 911.

Your part. You must be 18 or older. Keep your details accurate and your login to yourself. Use the program for yourself. Please be respectful in group sessions — we may remove someone who makes a session unsafe or unpleasant for others.

Using the app and the materials. The app, the curriculum and the coaching materials belong to Sana Lifestyle Ltd. For as long as you are enrolled in the pilot you may use them for your own personal, non-commercial benefit. Please do not copy, resell or share them outside your household.

Your information. How we handle your information is set out in our Privacy Policy, and your consents are recorded when you join. We share your progress with your physician only if your physician asks to be kept informed. You can leave the program at any time by telling your coach or emailing info@sanalifestyle.com, and when you do, that sharing stops.

We treat ourselves as a provider of health care under California's Confidentiality of Medical Information Act, which means we do not disclose your medical information without your written authorization except where the law permits, and you are entitled to a copy of every authorization you sign. The California section of our Privacy Policy sets this out in full.

Leaving, and how the pilot ends. You can leave whenever you like, for any reason, with no cost and nothing to cancel. The pilot itself runs for a defined period and will end; we will tell you before it does, and we will tell you what happens to your data and what your options are. Ending the pilot does not create a bill.

The honest fine print. This is a pilot. Features may change and occasionally things may break; we will fix them as quickly as we can, and the program is provided "as is" to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and including your rights under California law. [⚠ Counsel: we have deliberately not carried over the "liability capped at amounts you paid" clause from the commercial terms, because for this cohort that figure is zero. Please tell us what the right position is.]

Changes and contact. If we change these terms we will tell you before the change takes effect. Questions, or to ask for a copy of anything you agreed to: info@sanalifestyle.com — we aim to reply within 48 hours.

Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 17, 2026

We barely use cookies, and we don't use any for advertising or analytics.

Strictly necessary cookies only: our payment provider Stripe sets cookies (such as __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid) that are required for secure checkout and fraud prevention. The site may also set a cookie to keep you logged in. That's it.

Because we use no analytics, advertising, or other non-essential cookies, EU law does not require a consent banner — just this disclosure. If we ever add analytics or marketing tools, we'll add a proper consent banner first and update this page.

You can block cookies in your browser settings, but checkout and login may stop working. Questions: info@sanalifestyle.com.

Refund Policy

Last updated: July 17, 2026

We want trying Sana to feel risk-free.

Before your program starts: cancel anytime for a full refund of anything you've paid — no questions asked.

After your program starts: cancel anytime to stop all future payments. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, and no further charges are made.

If you're a consumer in the EU or UK, you additionally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you subscribe. If your program starts within those 14 days, we'll ask for your express agreement to begin early; if you then withdraw before the 14 days are up, we'll refund the price minus a proportionate amount for the period already delivered, as EU law provides.

If something went wrong on our side — we billed you in error, or the service materially failed — email us and we'll make it right with a refund or credit, your choice.

Refunds go back to your original payment method via Stripe, typically within 5–10 business days. To cancel or request a refund: info@sanalifestyle.com. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under the laws of your country (including the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act).

Sana Lifestyle — Text Message (SMS) Program Terms

Sana Lifestyle Ltd. · 8 The Green, Ste A, Dover, DE 19901, United States · Version 1.3 · Effective August 15, 2026

These SMS Program Terms form part of Sana Lifestyle's Terms of Service, available at sanalifestyle.com/terms. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy at sanalifestyle.com/privacy.

1. The program

When you opt in to text messages from Sana Lifestyle (the Sana Heart Health Program), we send three kinds of messages to the mobile number you provide: a daily reminder to take your blood-pressure reading in the Sana app; one-time verification codes when you sign up or sign in; and occasional notifications that a message from your care team is waiting in the app. Messages are sent using automated technology. We never include health details — readings, conditions, or medication names — in a text message.

2. Message frequency

Message frequency varies. Expect up to about 35 messages per month — one daily reminder plus occasional notifications and any verification codes you request.

3. Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Sana does not charge for text messages, but your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates apply. If you have questions about your text or data plan, contact your wireless provider.

4. Opting out

Reply STOP to any message at any time to opt out. You will receive one final message confirming you are unsubscribed, and no further texts after that. You can rejoin at any time by replying START, or by asking your Sana care team. You can also ask us to stop texting you by emailing info@sanalifestyle.com. An email opt-out takes effect when we receive it. Replying STOP stops the texts straight away, without waiting for us. Opting out of texts does not affect your enrolment or anything else in your program.

5. Help

Reply HELP to any message for help, or contact us at info@sanalifestyle.com. We aim to reply to email within 48 hours.

6. Your consent, and your choice

Agreeing to text messages is optional and is not a condition of enrolment, of any purchase, or of receiving any part of the Sana program. We text only members who ticked the SMS consent box during enrolment, and we keep a record of that consent — the exact wording shown, whether it was ticked, and when. You can withdraw your consent at any time by any of the means in section 4.

7. Eligibility and your number

8. Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and is outside our control.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service describe how we handle your information. In short, for texting: no mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number and opt-in status are shared only with our SMS delivery provider, solely to send you the messages described here.

10. Changes and contact

If these terms change materially, we will tell you by text or email before the change applies. Questions any time: info@sanalifestyle.com.
